It was hot. Like 95 degrees on the ramp hot, but it was still awesome. I think Airbus won the airliner air display honors. The F-35 flew and put on a great demo as well. Also got to see all kinds of odd stuff like this Kawasaki P-1 sub chaser. More below...

The youngish guy in the middle of the picture in front of the dude with the shades is Emmanuel Macron, President of France. He was out and about visiting the show. He and his posse were coming out of a vendor’s chalet that I was heading into for a meeting.

I’m guessing that wasn’t a public day? I went years ago and was turned away at the gate. Come back tomorrow they said (I did) . There was only one public day.
